Round1: Make Remake Remaking of reference video given(The video will be shared to participants 3 days before the event). The participants should remake the reference video and present it on the first day of event. Round2: Tech Buzz A questionnaire round based on technical aspects of movie making. Hints will be given to each question. Ex: Video Exposure control There will be an elimination round following the second round, based on the performance in both first and second rounds. Description:
The world of electronic interests you? Grab this opportunity to exploit the skills in you. Indulge yourselves in a series of mind bending challenges along with modelling designs relevant to space systems .Hold on! Here is a twist, the participants have to deploy their bidding skills to catch hold of the right components to design their models.

Rules:
Round 1:This round has some interesting challenges. A series of some mind boggling puzzles will be given to the participants. using the point earned in this round the participants get to bid the components in the next round. Round 2:One space system will be decided prior to the event. Auction will be on the electronic components required to build the different sub modules of that space system. Sub modules will be assigned to each teams through a small game.Then participants have to buy the components required to complete model assigned to them.So this round tests the basic knowledge of electronics in space systems. Round 3: In this round participants should be able to design their respective module on Simulink or any other simulator and should be able to explain on which environment will their designed model will come to working condition and should be able to answer few technical questions asked by the judges.

The aim is to build a contraption that involves the conversion of energy from one form to another and provide proper explanation for the same. Team will be scored according to the set rubrics and the team with the highest score will be the winner

1.The participants will be provided 3 hours from completing their models. 2.The time of operation of the contraption should not exceed 3 minutes. 3.Each team can have a maximum of 4 members. 4.A space of 5ft X 5ft will be provided for each team. 5.The minimum number of energy conversions involved in the contraption must be 4. Additional points will be awarded for any conversions exceeding the minimum limit 6.Hand touch is only allowed in the beginning. any hand touch/intervention in the consequent stages will result in the deduction of points. 7.Use of dangerous chemicals, combustible or explosive substances, high voltage or animals in the contraption is forbidden. 8. Description:
Based on the IEM concept of String Diagram. The objective of the event is to decide the minimum distance that should be travelled by the rover. The entire venue will be designed in the form of a planet terrain. The team is first required to create a string diagram to show the path. They are going to design the path and predict the time they will take to finish the course.And then recreate it. The winner is based on who has the closest real time to the forecasted time.

Rules:
Rules and Regulations : ? Only two participants allowed in a group. ? The participant should use the string board and come out with a string diagram by analysing the best possible route. ? A stopper will be started as soon as the participants will start engaging with the string board. ? Once the participants complete the string diagram, they should report to the event coordinator and after getting the approval, they should move to the next phase. ? The next phase involves, controlling a remote-controlled car to pass in the same way as drawn in the string diagram. ? If the car starts navigating in the wrong direction (compared to string diagram), the coordinator has to spot at that point and the car should be repositioned back to the starting position. ? The group which completes the task in the least time is considered winner. ? If two or more groups complete in same time. The prize money is divided equally.

REVERSE CODING

Description:
Reverse coding is an event which tests your logical, mathematical and basic programming skills. Given the output of a program, you have to figure out what the program does.

Rules:
Round 1: Prelims - Contest duration: 60 min - Each question consists of a set of inputs and outputs - Participants must write a program which takes the given set inputs and produces the given set of outputs. - This will test basic analytical, mathematical and programming skills of the participants. Round 2: Final - Contest duration: 90 min - Five problems are given to the participants, each as a single executable file. FURY ROAD v4.0

Description:
The scintillating flagship event of the EC department is the Fury Road. The participants are required to build an RC (remote controlled) car on their own. The car will be tested against other teams cars until the last one standing is worthy of being the winner.Each round will be a knockout round with no second chances. This event tests the team's RC car on design, speed, durability, power and additional features. It is also a test of the riders skill to complete the task! Winners here are the keepers of huge cash prizes.

Rules:
The aim of this event is to design and build a single remote controlled car that can compete in various challenges such as a Maze, a Football Match and an Obstacle Course. Teams must build their OWN RC Car for this event. A workshop on building RC Cars will be conducted for all registered participants. The maximum dimensions of the RC Car should be 15cm (width) x 20cm (length) x 25cm (height).The car should have 4 wheels. Robot must be controlled manually via wireless communication (Ex: Bluetooth, Radio). Rules of the event: Round1: Maze Runner: The cars are required to find their way out of a 3 dimensional maze collecting the coins along the way. Round2: Elimination Chamber: This round will be like survival of the fittest amongst others. That is a one on one knock out based match. Round 3: Death Race: The participants have to guide their car in an obstacle filled course. The obstacle course will test the cars speed and robustness.

Description:
Come, let out the inventive genius in you! The task is to build a working model from scratch. Teams have to buy the required components from a pile of components using Virtual Money. Teams will have to plan out, make the right buying and selling decisions to get the best suited components and come up with the final model within the given time.

Rules:
Session I Building (4 hours): Components available in the space junk will be displayed. In the given amount of time the participants can discuss and buy components by making use of Virtual money( Fixed amount will be given to all the participants) to come up with a working model. The participants will be given internet access. Mentor advice can be sought using Virtual Money. Session II Presentation:Each team has to present and demonstrate their model (5 minutes/team).

Description:
Round 1: CAD(Computer aided design) - This round involves the pitching of idea or products in order to improve space systems. The contestants are required to use Solidworks to design the product they want to create.Based on the CADD model,the top teams will be selected for the next round. Round 2: PDD(Product design and development)- In this round the contestants need to present and explain the idea of why the product will work and market their product as well as sell it to the judges panel.

Rules:
Consists of two rounds. Entry individual or a team up to 3 members. Mobile Phones allowed for the first 10 mins. ? Round one: CAD modelling round. Participants are required to come with a cad model of any new product/part or improved design of existing parts. The theme will be space system which will be revealed before the commencement of the round. A limited duration (15 to 20 mins) will be allowed to browse the internet for ideas. Feeling charged up this season? Here's an event to make you feel ex-static. The event consists of 2 rounds which will test the knowledge and problem solving skills of participants in the field of Electronics and space systems. ROUND 1: The participants (team of 2) will have to solve riddles and crosswords based on space and space systems to qualify to the next round. This round will last for a total of about 20 minutes. ROUND 2: The qualified teams will be given a situation for which they have to come up with a solution using internet if necessary and rig up a circuit to help devise smart satellites and other devices helpful in space. The participants can make use of internet for the first 20 minutes of round 2 and the fastest team to build the circuit wins.

Rules:
A team can contain only 2 participants. Circuit components and circuit description will be provided. Use of internet is not allowed in Round 1. Usage of internet in Round 2 is restricted to 20 minutes at the beginning of the round.

The event is all about enhancing the knowledge of satellite subsystems and technical readiness to take up satellite project. Teams have to come up with the simulation model/technical paper of any subsystemrelated topics in the satellite . Teams have to choose a payload at that given time and come up with the presentation that has to include brief about both the rounds .

Rules:
Pre-event: Teams shall come up with either a simulation model or a technical paper of any subsystem. MATLAB, PSPICE, SystemV ue or any other suitable software environment can be used for simulation. A technical paper shall not exceed 4 pages. Choice of subsystemis left to team s discretion. Presentation 1 shall be prepared irrespective of paper/simulation and shall not exceed 10 slides. Round 1:Creaload(2 hours) Each teamchooses a chit. The chit includes a specific domain within which an idea for payload should be developed. Teamwill be given 2 hours to search about the particular application and prepare Presentation 2 forthe same. Presentation shall not exceed 5 slides. Round 2 :Presentation(15 mins) Each teamwill be given maximumof 15 minutes for presentation of simulation/paper(ppt) developed pre-event and idea developed in Creaload.
