Have you always wondered what those marvellous objects look like through a telescope? Well this is the workshop youve been looking for! Don't limit yourself to the skies when there is a whole galaxy out there! Learn how to explore the universe with a handmade telescope. Star-gaze, watch and admire the beauty of the night sky with a pinch of science! This Workshop Consists Of 3 Phases ? Phase 1: (A presentation on Astronomical Concepts and Telescope Mechanism) 3pm - 4pm Understanding of various arrangements of constellations and celestial bodies. ? Phase 2: (Basic Telescope Making) 4.30pm - 5.30pm Participants will be taught how to make a simple telescope which will make an excellent and inexpensive starter telescope that can inspire an even deeper study about stars. ? Phase 3:(Sky Observation) 6pm - 7pm Participants will be able to spot the first visible star/planets in the evening. Participants will make their own sky observation, diagrams, recognise the pictures taken by experts and gain some possible information about the universe. This workshop creates curiosity among participants which will encourage them to indulge in several research areas in astronomy as well as astrophysics.
